According to the latest ‘Global Wealth Report’, Swiss bank Credit Suisse’s report on the continued growth of global wealth, for 2020, the number of millionaires in Portugal rose last year, despite the pandemic.
Last year there were 136,430 millionaires in Portugal, up on the 117,000 millionaires identified in the country the year before.
Moreover, in 2020, the richest 1% in Portugal held 20.1% of the country’s wealth.
