“e-residence.com OÜ” (referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”) in this policy primarily refers to e-residence.com is the “data controller” of all personal data collected within e-residence.com.

The standard retention period is five (5) years, unless otherwise required by law or due to an ongoing investigation.

You may request the deletion of your personal data by sending an email to team@e-residence.com. Your request must include a copy of your passport or valid ID for identity verification purposes. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm once your data has been deleted. The copy of your passport or ID will be securely destroyed after the request has been completed.

Please note that we are committed to deleting your data when your right to erasure is exercised and when there is no longer a legal basis for its processing. However, certain data stored in system backups or archived formats (e.g., microfiche or server backups) may be technically impossible to delete.

If you placed an order and later changed your mind before the service was provided (i.e., you did not receive any electronically scanned copies of documents), we can delete your personal data upon request. However, once the service has been provided, we are required to retain the data to comply with the legal requirements of official institutions in the Republic of Portugal and the Kingdom of Spain.
